Overview

Paradise Dynasty - S Maison stands as a distinguished Chinese restaurant situated on the second level of S Maison at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. With a location that offers a scenic view of Manila Bay, this venue combines a relaxing seaside ambiance with the vibrant energy of the Mall of Asia, making it a fitting spot for casual dining as well as special gatherings.

Renowned for its expertly crafted Xiao Long Bao, particularly the Crab Roe variant, Paradise Dynasty captures the essence of authentic Chinese flavors with a modern twist. The restaurant's signature dishes extend beyond soup dumplings to include hearty offerings like Pork Belly Noodles and Spicy Szechuan Crispy Chicken, showcasing a masterful balance of spice and savor. The menu’s breadth—from stir-fries like Beef with Assorted Mushrooms in Szechuan Bean Sauce to comfort dishes such as Ma Po Tofu—caters to both traditional palates and those seeking a bit of culinary adventure.

The dining experience here embraces both quality and detail. Customers repeatedly highlight the favorable spice levels in dishes such as the Spicy Wonton and Kung Pao Chicken, where flavors come alive without overwhelming heat. Dimsum selections, including pan-fried pork dumplings and steamed vegetable buns, consistently receive praise for their freshness and authenticity. Desserts like the Pan-Fried Pumpkin Pastry and Red Bean Glutinous Rice Rolls provide a sweet conclusion that nods to traditional Chinese patisserie.

Service at Paradise Dynasty is generally attentive and efficient, though some patrons note occasional inconsistencies in timing. The restaurant's open-air seating arrangement enhances the dining mood with natural light and a gentle breeze, though the temperature can fluctuate depending on the seating area. This design decision caters well to guests who appreciate a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, perfect for families, friends, and business diners alike.

While some dishes like the La Mian with Minced Meat and Mushroom Sauce demonstrate authentic preparation and depth, subtle issues with temperature consistency have been observed, suggesting room for refinements in kitchen handling. Nonetheless, the overall satisfaction remains high, with many guests relishing the fusion of familiar tastes and elevated Chinese culinary techniques.

In essence, Paradise Dynasty - S Maison offers a solid representation of Chinese gastronomy with an emphasis on quality ingredients and flavor authenticity, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Manila Bay. It appeals most to diners seeking a thoughtfully curated menu that blends comfort with a touch of sophistication, making it a worthy destination within Metro Manila’s dynamic food scene.

Fast service and delicious food. The spicy dishes were the right amount of heat - bot too hot, but enough to enjoy the spice flavors. One of the best Hot and Sour soups I've had outside of Chinatown in New York City. Would recommend if you're at the mall looking for a nice restaurant!

All their dimsum options are great quality soup was very rich great and attentive service forgot to take pics of our whole meal but we definitely ordered a bit much. only problem is because its open air, it can get a bit warm depending on where you sit.

-XLB cheese were great. -Tofu with century egg - had to ask to separate the sauce because it was too salty. Portion is small and century egg is too little. -Dan dan mien (La Mien) tasted authentically Chinese with crushed peanuts, thick broth and firm thin noodles. Howerver, I had to send it back 3x to the kitchen because they kept service it warm (not really hot). This is not that spicy so I asked for chilli garlic. -Loved the snow fungus dessert! Reminded me of my childhood days when mom would make it. Wait staff are friendly.

So good! It's one of the less overrated Chinese fine dining places I can think of...

Food was very tasty. Service has a tendency to be late. Food was served in odd increments. Thumbs up for value for money. Atmosphere in S Maison is definitely a plus minus the Manila Bay reclamation view. We ordered xiao long baos (DTF is better), jelly fish and seafood in vinaigrette (the best for me), deep fried garlic pork ribs, prawns tossed in salted egg yolk, egg fried rice, egg fried rice in yang zhou style, la mian with braised pork belly, and ma po tofu.

Came here for the 辣子鸡 spicy chicken as I was craving it My favorites were the spicy chicken with the egg fried rice ! The spicy chicken offered a spicy kick with every bite but it was still flavorful, while the egg fried rice balanced it out . The xiao long bao was also quite good , it was soupy and the wrapper was just the right texture . I also liked the spinach dish :) The sweet and sour pork was quite standard , you could probably get similar , if not better quality from other restaurants so it's most probably skippable ( but it's still okay to order , of course ) Unfortunately , the dan dan mian was my least favorite :( I would have liked to try a different la mian instead , like the pork dumplings in hot vinagerette la mian ( i will try this next time ! ) I also enjoyed the tea and the service was quite good ! All of our food arrived at within each other so we could eat all of it simultaneously instead of having to wait for each one . I would say waiting time is around 10 minutes ? The waiters are also attentive to our requests . The atmosphere was quite good , I say this because the interior is really pretty , and it wasn't too noisy by any means . Overall , a good experience ! I would want to go back again and try their other offerings

Dimsum and xiao long bao were absolutely delicious! But what really stood out for me was the Charcoal Custard Lava Bun — rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Definitely a must-try when you visit!
